EXO….. This group doesn’t need a introduction. But then also let me introduce them to the ones who don’t know them.

So EXO is a 8 member group under SM Entertainment. It formally had 4 other members who leaved the group and they all were Chinese. Their Fanbase is called EXO-L and I am one of them.

So recently there was a headline going viral about SM losing copyrights to EXO songs which means that EXO won’t be performing those songs anymore.

Now here is the story behind it. So along with SM, Mars (The producer – MZMC) also has the copyrights to EXO songs as he and his team have worked on it; which means that they should get the royalties from the streaming platforms such as Melon, Spotify, etc. But SM recently denied to do so, so Mars in reaction to this demanded to take off the songs from different platforms which means the concerts which stream on V-LIVE so that SM doesn’t claim the profits alone of their joint work.

Now the main question “Will we be able to see EXO perform soon?”. Well the answer to this is still blurry. Till the time both the sides make a deal we won’t be seeing EXO perform those songs.

Now this has lead to some rumors. The rumors about SM not buying the copyrights to EXO songs as EXO is leaving SM. Well this is not true. For now we have a solo coming for Suho and Kai. This seems to great.
